BLEPHAROPLASTY (EYE LID LIFTS)

Dr. Ashley's favorite surgery! Dr. Ashley's artistic cosmetic surgery experience provides refreshing and wonderful blepharoplasty results. Give tired, dull looking eyes a lift for a youthful appearance by removing excess sagging skin, muscle, and/or fat.

These procedures are done in office with a local anesthesia (you are not put to sleep) and lasts between 60-90 minutes. Most patients return to work within a few days after surgery. Typically, stitches are removed 3-5 days after surgery.

First, schedule a complimentary consultation with Dr. Ashley. Then, reserve your appointment for the date of surgery. Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. Be prepared to have someone pick you up or drive you home. If you need arrangements to be taken home, we can accommodate you. A $300 deposit is due at time of scheduling to reserve your appointment; this will be put towards the cost of your surgery.

Common Questions:

Does this procedure hurt?

We always ask our patients after what they thought and the typical response is, "Why didn't I do this sooner?!" You will be given some medication to relax, then we will numb the area and begin the procedure. Dr. Ashley will guide you through the entire process.

What are common side effects of this procedure?

In some cases, patients experience bruising and swelling after surgery. Bruising typically falls under the eye.

If you do experience bruising,

you can cover it up with concealer.

Can I see more pictures?

Yes, of course! We respect our patient's requests of privacy and can show you more photos in the office during a consultation.
